Need Corporate Video Production?
I recently tried out a new video production company called Pacific Digital Video for an organizational video for one of my clients’ HR department. Unfortunately due to an NDA I signed with my client I cannot disclose who they are (which I wish I could because the product was so amazing), but I was nevertheless so impressed with Pacific Digital Video’s work I felt it necessary to spread the word.
Their client list was impressive enough that when I landed on their site, I felt it at the very least worth my while to reach out and see what they were all about. I emailed their general inbox as listed on their contact page and received a reply within 4 hours. I happily checked off #1 one of my “general requirements for dealing with any third party vendors” list- timeliness.
On to #2, professionalism. The gentleman from their sales department wrote a very lucid and easy to understand email about how they could and would approach my client’s project. I was incredibly impressed. Either they were blowing a lot of smoke up where the sun doesn’t shine or they were the solution I had been dreaming of. Using a mix of Final Cut and Adobe After Effects Marcus communicated their desire to create not just an informative HR policy video for my client but also one that was engaging and at times, even a bit humorous. Which leads to #3 – “creative efficacy”.
When you are sourcing a company for an organizational video, you are walking a tightrope between going “too corporate and not enough attention grabbing” and “too fun or too artistic and not serious enough to truly convey your message or idea”. You don’t want your clients’ employees sleeping through the video but conversely you don’t want them to take it too lightly. I was comforted by Marcus’ email and felt confident they would deliver something that walked that line in perfect balance. We moved forward into getting a deal in place. Negotiating to signing took less than 2 business days and was totally headache free. WOW!
Less than 5 weeks later I delivered the video to my client. They were so impressed and pleased with the video, I received an additional bonus for undercutting their max budget and delivering the project over 2 weeks prior to deadline. So while I happily took the extra dough they gave me – and to their minds, the credit- I could not in good conscience not write about my experience with Pacific Digital Video and try and turn some new business their way accordingly.
If you need an organizational or corporate video produced in a timely manner, and want to deal with a professional staff who does what they promise at the outset, in a time-frame that meets or beats their initial estimate, and impresses at every turn of the process, then you really should give Pacific Digital Video a shot on your next project.
Check out Pacific Digital Video if you need great organizational videos produced for your company.
